Dr Carly Broadbent graduated in 2002 from Victoria University as a qualified Osteopath. In 2012 after her third child was born she opened Osteo for Families. Having worked in many clinics throughout Queensland and Victoria she could see that a clinic which catered for families, in particular mum’s with young babies was necessary. Carly’s vision was to create a space where mothers could feel comfortable to have a treatment whilst their child/children could play on the floor without mum stressing whether they were going to break anything! With Carly also completing a post graduate certificate in the treatment of paediatrics, Carly’s passion is to treat babies and children. Carly has developed a strong network with maternal child health nurses, lactation consultants, dentists and also with local football and cricket clubs. Carly has a personal passion for fitness and having treated elite sportsman, she also loves getting her ‘hands on’ a good sports injury.
In 2017 Carly opened her second clinic in Darwin. With fantastic staff in Diamond Creek, Victoria, Carly took a leap and with her family moved to the top end of Australia. Here in Darwin, Carly has created another clinic based on the same philosophy as Osteo for Families Diamond Creek. A clinic that caters for families from new born babies, to mum and dad’s to grandparents and of course a sports person to.
Carly loves to travel in her caravan and overseas with her husband and three boys, participate in Crossfit (and maybe compete on the odd occasion) and cake decorating; though in Darwin she is finding the weather too hot for this!
